FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE NPF-30 SUPPLEMENT TO RAI B2.1.7-5a

References:

1) ULNRC-05830, dated December 15, 2011
2) ULNRC-05928, dated November 8, 2012 By the Reference I letter, Union Electric Company (Ameren Missouri) submitted a license renewal application (LRA) for Callaway Plant Unit 1. Reference 2 transmitted responses to LRA Request for Additional Information (RAI) Set #15. In telephone conversations held between the staff and Ameren Missouri personnel on November 26, 2013 and December 18, 2013 it was agreed that the response to RAI B2.1.7-5a did not address a portion of the request with respect to providing limitations on the applicability of the 10 percent increase in allowable stresses given in Design Guide ME-013, "Pipewall Thickness." Enclosure 1 provides a supplemental response to the RAI to address this oversight.
