Attachment 1 contains the Prairie Island site seismic time histories for use in the dynamic finite element analysis requested in Question 3.
Complete response to Question 3 of the Request for Additional Information dated February 21,1997 requires performance of two-dimensional dynamic finite element f j
analyses of the Prairie Island intake canal banks. An important input into these analyses is the Prairie Island site seismic time histories. Attached for NRC information is the Prairie Island seismic time histories which have been generated for use in the two-dimensional dynamic finite element analysis of the intake canal lII;/
banks. If the NRC has any concerns with the attached information, please let us know as soon as possible.
