QUALITYASSURANCEMANUALGINNASTATIONTITLERAPPENDIXBGinnaStationInserviceInspectionProgramForthe1980-1989IntervalDATEPAGE11/1/875OF272.4The.inserviceinspectionintervalsforthehighenergypipingoutside=ofcontainmentshallbetenyearintervalsofservicebeginningMay1,1973,January1,1980,1990and2000,respectively.Thetenyearexamination'planshalldescribethedistributionofexaminationswithintheinspectionintervalinaccordancewiththerequirementsofReference4.2.52.62.7Theinserviceinspectionintervalsfortheexami-nationofsteamgeneratortubesshallnotbemorethan24.months.However,ifove'ranominal2yearperiod(e.g.,twonormalfuelcycles)atleast2examinationsoftheseparatelegsresultinlessthan10%ofthetubeswithdetectablewallpenetration(greaterthan20%)andnosignificant(greaterthan10%)furtherpenetrationoftubeswithpreviousindications,theinspectionintervaloftheindividuallegsmaybeextendedtoonceevery40months.AspermittedbyIWA-2400ofReference1,theinserviceinspectionintervalforQualityGroupsA,BandCandhighenergypipingoutsidecon-tainmentmaybe,extendedasnecessary.Theinserviceinspectionintervalsforthereactorcoolantpumpflywheelshallbeapproximately10yearintervalsofservicecommencingonJanuary1,1970.Forareasofhighstressconcentrationattheboreandkeyway,areducedintervalofapproximately3yearsshallbeapplied.Thetenyearexaminationplanshalldescribethedistri-butionofexaminationswithintheinspectionintervalin:accordancewiththerequirementsofReference12.ISI3.0ExtentandFreenc3.1QualityGroupAcomponents,aslistedinTableISI-1.1shallbeexaminedtotheextentandfrequencyasrequiredinTableIWB-2500ofRefer-encel.
