I.IntroductionThisreportpresentstheresultsofananalysisoftherodwithdrawalerrortransientforCycle3.ThisinformationisprovidedinresponsetoReference1andsupplementsthatinReference2.II.AnalsisofRodWithdrawalErrorTransientDiscussionoftherodwithdrawalerrortransientanalysis,includingassumptions,ispresentedinSections6.2.4and6.3.3.2ofReference3.AdescriptionofinputtothisanalysisispresentedinSectionIVofAttachmentBtoReference2.Withtherodblocksettingat1054,theCycle3rodblockresponseisshown'inFigures24and25ofReference4.TheworstcaseHCPRatrodblockisdeterminedfromtheattachedFigures1and2.Asaresultofthisanalysis,itisnecessarythatthe8x8HCPRoperatinglimitbeincreasedto1.25,inordertoavoidviolatingtheHCPRSafetyLimitduringapostulatedrodwlthdrawalerrortransient.
