EDO REPORT, WEEK ENDING AUGUST 15, 1980 1.
North Anna Emercency Plan Drill On Saturday, August 16, 1930, VEPCO conducted an emergency plan drill for the North Anna site.
Present to observe, evaluate and critique the drill were representatives from FEMA, the NRC, and The Presidential Nuclear Safety Oversight Comittee.
FEMA will submit their preliminary findings by letter to the Comission on Tuesday, August 19,1980 and in.itial coments by FEM indicate they will be favorable.

Order to Susoend and Show Cause Issued to Lakeview Hosoital, Wisconsin Region III issued an order to suspend and show cause why the license should not be revoked at Lakeview Hospital, Wisconsin, on August 11, 1980. The case is being investigated by the local authorities in Wisconsin to detemine if any Wisconsin State laws were violated and by OIA. Region III plans to visit the osteopathic hospital during the week of August 18,1980, t ensure that they are complying with the order.

Public Meetino on South Texas 1, 2 Vic Stello will attend a public meeting in Bay City, Texas, on Tuesday, l
August 21, 1980, concerning South Texas 1 and 2.

Meetine with the Rural Development Subecmittee i
John Davis will be testifying at a hearing on August 26, 1980, before the Rural Development Subcomittee of the Senate Comittee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry. The subject of this hearing will be the Socio-economic Impacts of Nuclear Waste Storage Facilities on nearby rural and small comunities.

Meeting with WPPSS i
A canagement meeting was held by Region V on August 12, 1980 to review construction experience and problems at WNP 2 and results of the latest NRC investigation of work perfomed by the site mechanical contractor, WPG.
