Dear Pat Jenny:

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff continues to review your submittal dated October 31, 2023 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS)

Accession Number ML23243A847), providing an updated Standard Practice and Procedure Plan (SPPP) and Transportation Plan to support the new headquarters building application. Our review has identified that additional information is needed before final action can be taken. The enclosure provides requests for additional information (RAIs) on the SPPP.

The additional information, specified in the enclosure, should be provided within 30 days from the date of this letter. Keep in mind, that if desired, you may request a meeting with the NRC staff to discuss your draft responses to enhance mutual understanding, prior to the submittal.

We anticipate completing our review by January 12, 2024, which is a one-month extension from the previously stated completion date provide in our acceptance review letter dated October 3, 2022 (ML23265A156). We discussed this revised completion date and agreed that it still supports GLEs scheduling needs. This date could change depending on the findings of our technical review, urgent assignments, or other factors. We will promptly communicate any significant changes to this schedule.

In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Part 2 Agency Rules of Practice and Procedure, a copy of this letter and enclosures will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR) or from the Publicly Available Records component of the NRCs ADAMS. ADAMS is accessible from the NRC website at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html. The PDR is open by appointment.
