(U) Revision 2 to the Standard Practice and Procedures Plan (SPPP) for Global Laser Enrichment LLC (GLE) Approval Requested GLE is submitting revision 2 to our SPPP. GLE is hiring additional personnel, and their clearances take several months to obtain. GLE is reutilizing an area of the Fuels Growth Engineering Facility (FGE), previously carved out in revision 1 for GEH to do classified work, to create an uncleared office space*. The walls are already true floor to ceiling.

Additional sound proofing has been installed on the wall separating the cleared from uncleared. NRC personnel walked down the area prior to construction activities. GLE is requesting approval of the SPPP change. GLE understands that a readiness inspection will need to be conducted by Region II. We request that inspection as soon as is possible on or after August 8th .
