- This letter refers to our telephone conversation of January 28, 1975,
@ between Mr. O'Reilly of this Office and you and Mr. Roach of your Staff, ,
fJ concerning the operation of your Pilgrim Nuclear Power Plant. I h It is our understanding that you are continuing to investigate the cause of gaseous radioactivity releases from your reactor building ventilation I system vent that have exceeded limits contained in your Techni:a1 Speci-i fications. We understand that the following conditions have been set on j plant operation during your investigation:
- a. That reactor power will be limited to 30% of your authorized license limit.
- b. That you will control your releases from the reactor Luilding
} vent so as not to exceed 75% of your limiting condition for j operation.
yd j c. That you will inform this Office, prior to returning the plant
- to normal operation, with information suf ficient to show the bases for corrective action taken to preclude recurrence.
If our understanding of your planned actions is not in accordance with this letter, please contact this Office immediately.
