Proposed Revision to Gaseous Effluent Technical Snecifications for Pilgrim Unit #1

Dear Sir:

During the course of review of the Pilgrim Unit No. 1 Technical Specifications by Boston Edison Company personnel and following discussion with URC Division of Reactor Licensing personnel, it has become apparent that Technical Specification revisions are necessary to modify incorrect references, to specify action to be taken if applicable levels are exceeded, and to clarify circumstances under which certain actions are required by the Technical Specifications. Accordingly, Boston Edison Company hereby requests that the attached proposed revisions to Technical Specification ~pages 179, 179A, 180, 181, 191A, and 191B be issued to provide the necessary clarification and definition.
