In the Matter of ) Docket Nos. 50-327 Tennessee Valley Authority ) 50-328 SEQUOYAH N1' CLEAR PLANT (SQN) - TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION (TS) CHANGE 41-03 1

In accordance with 10 CFR 50.10, we are enclosing a requested amencment to Licenses nPT-77 and CPR-79 to enange the TSs of SQN Units 1 and 2.

The proposed change will previde an increaseC allowed outage time of 7 days for the centrifugal charging pumps as applied to TSs for reactivity control and emergency core cooling system requirements.

TVA regt.ests NRC review and approval of the proposed TS change. This change can te implemented without any physical modification and aniy minor procedure changes. Theretore, implementation can be achieved apen staff appraval of this request. However. TVA requests a 3 '? -d a y implementation period fram receipt of the approved change to place procedure revisions in effect and distribute the reviaed TS pages.

The proposed TS change is identified in Enclosure 1. The justification for the proposed TS change is provided in Enclosure 2. A proposed deter:uinution of no significant hazards mnsideration performed pursuant to 10 CFR 50.92 is provided in Enclosure 3.
