MOTION,FOR LEAVE TO FILE LATE Petitioners, Center for Nuclear Responsibility and Joette Lorion, motion that they be granted leave to file Petitioners Brief on the Conflict posed by the Legal Requirement of Timeliness and Equitable Considerations one day late, on Saturday, March 3, 1984, rather than on March 2, 1984, as required by the schedule established by the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board at the Prehearing Conference held in Homestead, Florida, on February 28, 1984.

Petitioners have advised Norman A.-Coll, Counsel for the Licensee, Florida Power & Light Company, of their intentions in this matter and have further committed to provide copies to Mr.

Harold Reis, Mr. Coll's Co-Counsel in Washington, D.C., by U.S.

Postal Service Express Mail, so as to ensura delivery by Monday, March 5, 1984.

The attorney for the Petitioners is a sole practioner and the press of other unexpected business and the non-availability of a Transcript of the Feb. 28, 1984, Prehearing Conference,have occasioned the delay, which has necessitated this request.
