Dear Sir:

I am enclosing a response that describes the current status of the corrective actions to resolve the violations of the NRC Inspection Report 50-g284/93-01. This response addresses Violations 284/9301-04, 05, 06, and 08 and one deviation.

(Dg The initial March 31, 1994 scheduled date of implementation, for the corrective actions, was not met due to several campus Box 8060 Pocatello, Idaho unresolved questions that we had with regard to isotope 832 m 060 production. However, all necessary documents have been finalized and are pending approval at the April 26, 1994 Reactor Safety Committee meeting. We regret not having met our original date of implementation.

I informed Mr. Larry Ricketson, the Lead Inspector of the August 1993 inspection, of our current status of corrective actions by telephone yesterday, April 21.

Should you have any questions please contact us.

Sincerely, R. David Clovis l Reactor Supervisor cc: USNRC Document Control Desk  ;
