Dear Mr. Thomas:
As directed by your letter dated May 21, 1985, docket no.
50-2818, Idaho State University has completed implementation of the emergency plan for it's reactor facility. The detailed implementation procedures are attached as enclosure 1.
All actions listed on enclosure 1 have been completed as of September 10, 1985.
In accordance with 10 CFR 50, appendix E (1V) V, a copy of the enclosure has been sent to the Administrator, Region IV, and 2 copies of the enclosure have been sent to the Document Control Desk, Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Washington, D.C.

EMERGENCY PLAN FOR THE' NUCLEAR FACILITY AT IDAHO STATE UNIVERSITY DETAILED IMPLEMENTATION PROCEDURES A copy of the approved emergency plan was distributed to all organizations required to respond in the event of an emergency at the Idaho State University nuclear reactor facility prior to July 15, 1985 On September 4,1985,.aus unusual incident drill was cenducted to exercise the emergency plan. Required actions included notification and communication procedures, use of emergency equipment, and participation by engineering personnel involved in a nuclear incident response.
A drill critique was held on September 4,1985 Deficiencies noted during the drill have been addressed and corrective action taken.
A training session was-conducted on September 10, 1985 for university security personnel who may be called upon to assist the Engineering Department in the event of a nuclear incident.
