Dear Mr. Mendonca:

1 Idaho State University (ISU) will be making the following organizational l changes with regard to the administration and operation of the AGN-201 Reactor in the Lillibridge Engineering Building on the ISU campus. The current Reactor AMnistrator, Dr. Alan Stephens, will officially retire from ISU on June 30. N following will be the newly assigned persons to the relevant reactor operational positions.

Reactor Supervisor: Mr. Ray Noy, whole holds a senior operator's license.

Reactor Administrator: Asst. Prof. John Bennion, who holds a senior j operator's license, has seven years of prior reactor operation  ;

experience at this and other facilities, and is a licensed professional engmeer.

Idaho State University Officer: Dr. Jay Kunze, Dean of Engineering (replacing the undersigned for this position as the ISU University Officer). Dr. Kunze has 10 years of reactor operating exterience, has 22 years of combined senice on two nuclear safety review boards (one a commercial plant, another the largest university research reactor),

and is a licensed professional engineer.

The organization chart in the current Technical Specifications needs to be altered, as

  • shown in the attached, since it shows both a ISU Officer and the Dean ofEngineering.

We will be changing the words "ISU Officer" to "ISU Administrative Representative," .

and will eliminate the Dean of Engineering box. We expect to submit a revision to the l Technical Specifications, for this and some other minor changes, to the NRC for review before September 1996.
