Dear Mr. Grimes:

. a. .

As requested, Combustion Engineering (C-El is preparing for a series of presen-tations to the Auxiliary Systems Branch in a meetino scheduled for June 9 and 10,  !

on the CESSAR-F docket. An agenda for the meeting is attached. Each presentation li will address the appropriate issues, as provided in the text of CESSAR-F. Many of the SAR sections within the review scope of the ASB are outside of the licensing scope of CESSAR-F. However, interfaces with CESSAR-F systems, which relate to these SAR sections, will be discussed. For example, interface requirements from i l

the Reactor Coolant System (Section 5.1.4) which apply to the Service Water l j

System (Section 9.2) will be addressed. l Time will be allotted at the end of each presentation to answer NRC questions and to discuss related issues. C-E plans to have available the proper personnel to l

l answer questions which may arise and to make any necessary commitments.

If you have any questions or require additional information, please contact me or Mr. G. A. Davis of my staff at (203)688-1911. Extension 3917.

Very truly yours, COMBUSTION ENGINEERING, INC.
