, Reason for changes: P reviously, the stated method was to compare each thermo-couple output to a calibrated RTD. The necessity to calibrate the subject thermocouples in plant environments which do not permit use of a laboratory standard requires a change in the =ethod of calibration. The proposed method

- assures an acceptable calibration will be performed without direct use of a laboratory _ standard i the plant environments.
