Letter,"Mark II Containment," to R.F.Boyd (NRC)from I.F.Stuart (GE), dated January 15, 1976, GE-MFN 008-76 The subject report was submitted to the NRC in January 1976.Although never intended for distribution outside General Electric, ten (10)copies were provided to the Staff as requested, because NEDM 20725-01 had been referenced in the Mark II DFFR, NEDO 21061,[Revision 0], dated September'1975.As stated in the referenced letter, inclusion of NEDM 20725-01 as a DFFR reference was unnecessary because the analytical model contained in the report had been provided in DFFR, Revision 0.The subsequent DFFR Revisions 1 and 2, which entirely superseded the respective previous revisions, therefore did not include reference to NEDM 20725-01.Because the report NEDM 20725-01 is not referenced in the presently applicable DFFR (Revision 2)and the pool swell..model has been described in the Pool Swell Model Repor t, NEDO/NEDE 21544P, submitted as part of the Mar k II Supporting Program in February, 1977, the unpublished NEDM 20725-01 has no application in the Mark II Program.
