MN No.13-008 U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION REGION I NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING March 19, 2013 Licensee: PPL Susquehanna, LLC Facilities: Susquehanna Steam Electric Station, Units 1 and 2 Docket Nos: 50-387 and 50-388 Date/ Time: April 10, 2013 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Location: Susquehanna Energy Information Center 634 Salem Boulevard Berwick, PA 18603

Purpose:

The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) will meet with PPL to discuss the NRCs assessment of safety performance at the Susquehanna Steam Electric Station for 2012, as described in the annual assessment letter dated March 4, 2013. The meeting will include a discussion of PPLs progress and future plans in addressing an ongoing substantive cross-cutting issue. The NRC will respond to questions on specific performance issues at the plant and our role in ensuring safe plant operations.

NRC Attendees: D. Roberts, Director, Division of Reactor Projects M. Gray, Chief, Division of Reactor Projects, Branch 4 P. Finney, Senior Resident Inspector, Susquehanna J. Greives, Resident Inspector, Susquehanna Public Participation: This is a Category 1 Meeting. The public will have an opportunity to communicate with NRC staff following the presentation.
