Dear Mr. Conroy:

This will acknowledge receipt of your May 23, 2007, payment of the $130,000.00 civil penaltyproposed by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission on April 23, 2007. We have determined that additional clarifying information is needed regarding how Entergy willdetermine siren operability and achieve full compliance with the terms of the January 31, 2006, Confirmatory Order Modifying License, within the time committed to in Entergy's May 23, 2007, letter.
