1. On January 27, 1968, the Atomic Energy Commissi.on issued a Notice of Hearing on the application by Metropolitan Edison Company (Applicant) for a provisional construction permit for a pressurized water reactor to be located at the Applicant's

• site on Three Mile Island, an island in the Susquehanna River, in Londonderry Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.

2. The otice of Hearing provided for a pnehearing conference to be held on February 20, 1968, and for a hearing

4. , Pursuant to Section 2.730 of the Atomic Energy Commission's " Rules of Practice," and in recognition of the foregoing, Applicant moves the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board

to postpone the public hearing to a date certain during the week of April 7, 1968, and to postpone the prehearing conference to a date certain either during the week of March 24, 1968, or of March 31, 1968. Applicant understands that the Regulatory Staff will consent to the granting of this Motion.
