At 9:25 a'.m.on January 25,'982, the Ginna B-Steam Generator experienced a tube failure.A report summarizing the sequence of events, operator actions, emergency procedures, equipment performance, radiological assessment, and recommendations related to the transient was submitted to the NRC by letter dated April 13, 1982.The enclosed=report provides an evaluation of the steam generator and includes the results of inspections, a description of analysis and tests used to establish the tube failure mechanism, and a summary of repairs.Forty copies of this letter and the enclosed report, are provided.Very truly yours, Jo n E.Maier Enclosure 0 I H*}}
