The attached materials are copies of the transparencies to be used in a presentation to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff on July 9, 1987 regarding the elimination of the RTD Bypass Line in Salem Units 1 & 2. The subject presentation has been prepared in response to questions raised during a telephone conference call on June 15, 1987 between representatives from Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G), Combustion Engineering ( C-E) and the NRC. The attached material contains proprietary information which C-E requests be withheld from public disclosure.
 
The information is similar to that provided in the PSE&G submittal of April 2, 1987 ( S-87-05) on this subject and for which a proprietary affidavit was provided.
