SUBJECT: PERRY NUCLEAR POWER PLANT - NRC SECURITY BASELINE INSPECTION REPORT 05000440/2017 40 5

Dear Mr. Hamilton:

On October 14, 2017, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) completed a security inspection at your Perry Nuclear Power Plant, Unit 1. On October 20, 2017, the NRC inspector discussed the results of this inspection with M r. D. Saltz and other members of your staff. The results of this inspection are documented in the enclosed report

. The NRC inspector did not identify any finding or violation of more than minor significance.

This letter will be made available for public inspection and copying at http://www.nrc.gov/reading

-rm/adams.html and at the NRC Public Document Room in accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) 2.390, "Public Inspections, Exemptions, Requests for Withholding."
