RENEWED FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE NPF-30 MODIFIED NPDES PERMIT FOR STORMWATER RETENTION POND In accordance with Callaway Plant Operating License NPF-30, Appendix B, Section 3.2, Union Electric Company (Ameren Missouri) hereby submits the enclosed modified National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Missouri State Operating Permit for the Callaway Plant (MO-0098001). The NPDES Operating Permit modification was submitted to the Missouri Department of Natural Resources (DNR) on December 20, 2021, and the modified NPDES permit was approved on April 1, 2022.
The modified NPDES permit reflects changes to stormwater retention ponds at the Callaway site.
Compliance with the permit will be verified as provided for in the permit.
Based on when the enclosed NPDES permit was approved, it is acknowledged that this letter for submitting the permit is not being submitted in a timely manner and not in conformance with the intent of Section 3 .2 of Appendix B, which specifies that:
Changes to, or renewals of, the NPDES Permit or the State certification shall be reported to the NRC within 30 days following the date the change or renewal is approved.
The delay in providing a copy of the April 1, 2022, modified NPDES permit is being addressed in the plant's corrective action program.
This letter does not contain new commitments.
