Specifically, the proposed change involves revising the Emergency Plan for PBNP to adopt the Nuclear Energy lnstitute's (NEl's) revised Emergency Action Level (EAL) scheme described in NEI 99-01, Revision 6, "Development of Emergency Action Levels for Non-Passive Reactors," which has been endorsed by the NRC.
In Reference 2, the NRC staff requested additional information to complete its review of the requested amendment. Enclosure 1 provides the NextEra response to the NRC staff's request for additional information.
