Of the four relief requests submitted, the one identified as PR-04 concerned conformance to testing requirements/provisions of ISTB-1400(b). Specifically, the requested relief was to allow Callaway's Residual Heat Removal pumps to be tested as standby (Group B) pumps for when the plant is in Mode 1, 2, 3, or 4, and as routinely operated (Group A) pumps for when the plant is in Mode 5 or 6. Although supporting information and justification was provided in the request, upon further consideration of the matter, AmerenUE has determined that the relief request should be withdrawn. Therefore, by this letter, AmerenUE respectfully requests withdrawal of the relief request identified as PR-04. This request does not affect the other Relief Requests (PR-01, PR-02 and PR-03) submitted via the August 9, 2005 letter.
