Page 2 of 2 Enclosed is Revision 1 of the project Design Report submitted for NRC Staff review. Revision 1 contains both revised and additional information necessary to bting the Design Report up to date.

This tevision includes the following information:

1. Responses and other pertinent information result.ing frotn NRC Staff requests for additional information have been included in Revision 1 as appropriate.

2. A re. vised overal. p ject schedule is provided in Section 7.0 of Revision 1 as committed by NSp (Reference 2).

Figures 2-1 and 2 2, existing and upgraded one line electrical diagrams of the Emergency AC Power Systein, have been revised to correct certain inadvertent errors in drafting, Note that the inaccurate diagrams were previously subtnitted to the NRC Staff (References 1 and 3) and subsequently reproduced by the NRC (Reference 4).

4 As a result of our recent project scheduie assesernent (Reference 2),

we have decided to install new solid state progracusable logic controller based load coauencers for Unit 1 as well as Unit 2.

In general, we believe the chaages and additions in Revision 1 will not require a significant NRC Sacff review effort. In fact, many of the changes reflected in Revision 1 result from previous discussione and correspondence with the NRC Staff.
