ENCLOSURE REGULATORY STAFF POSITIONS Xn Drawing M-120, portions            of the diesel generator fuel are shown as non-Q.              Xt is our position that all of oil'ystem the components in this system and the components in the other diesel auxiliary systems should be Q-listed, Seismic Category 1, and Quality Group C. This includes the lube oil, air starting and cooling water  system.'n Drawing M-186, the Quality Group D classification of components in the control structure chilled water system is not acceptable. It          is our position that the components of this system  should          be Quality Group C.}}

Gentlemen As a result of our review of the g-listed piping and instrumentation diagrams for the Susquehanna Steam Electric Station submitted with your letter date/ October 2, 1974, we have developed the enclosed Regulatory positions regarding the quality group classifications shown on the above cited diagrams.

We request that you respond to the enclosed positions, clearly indicating your position regarding the indicated Regulatory requirements.- The piping and instrument diagrams for the Susquehanna Station should bc revised accordingly. We are prepared to meet with you i$ you wish for discussions regarding our positions to assure complete understanding of their bases.

We request that you respond to the enclosed positions by January 1, 1976.
