RESPONSE TO NOTIFICATION OF READINESS FOR NRC INSPECTION PROCEDURE 95001

Dear Mr. Chisum:

By letter dated April 2, 2014, (ADAMS ML14093A093) the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) notified Entergy Operations, Inc., that the Waterford Steam Electric Station, Unit 3, had been placed in the Regulatory Response Column of the NRC's Reactor Oversight Process (ROP) Action Matrix due to having one White finding in the Mitigating Systems Cornerstone. In that letter, the NRC notified you of our intent to conduct a supplemental inspection in accordance with Inspection Procedure 95001, "Supplemental Inspection for One or Two White Inputs in a Strategic Performance Area," once we receive written notification of your readiness for the inspection.

By letter dated September 8, 2014, (ADAMS ML14252A044) you informed the NRC of Entergy's readiness for the performance of the supplemental inspection. We have scheduled this inspection for October 6-10, 2014. Please contact Mr. Cale Young at (817) 200-1250 with any questions concerning the details of this inspection.
