DPR-51 and NPF-6 Grand Gulf Nuclear Station, Unit 1 NRC Docket No. 50-416 Renewed Facility Operating License No. NPF-29 River Bend Station, Unit 1 NRC Docket No. 50-458 Renewed Facility Operating License No. NPF-47 Waterford Steam Electric Station, Unit 3 NRC Docket No. 50-382 Renewed Facility Operating License No. NPF-38 In accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(w)(3), the attached summary documents the primary and property damage insurance coverage for the nuclear sites of Entergy Operations, Inc (Entergy).
The insurance certificates that correspond to the policy numbers identified in the attachment are available in Entergy's Risk Management files following their effective date, April 1, 2023.
Entergy made changes to the property insurance policies for 2023. Specifically, Entergy canceled the blanket excess property policy and the primary policy limits have been reduced to
$1.06 billion. These changes were effective 1/1/2023 and will apply to the renewal valid 4/1/2023 - 4/1/2024. The primary policy still complies the $1.06 billion limit specified in 10 CFR 50.54(w)(1).
Additionally, the operating licenses for Palisades and Big Rock Point nuclear plants were transferred to another licensee in 2022. Entergy is no longer providing summaries of the insurance coverage for Palisades and Big Rock Point.
