On April 4, 2013, the NRC issued thefinal significance determination for a White finding and notice of violation (Reference 2).The April 4, 2013 letter (Reference 2) also informed Dominion Energy Kewaunee, Inc.(DEK) the NRC would be conducting a supplemental inspection using InspectionProcedure 95001, "Inspection for One or Two White Inputs in a Strategic PerformanceArea," when NRC has been notified by DEK of its readiness for the inspection.On May 31, 2013, the NRC issued a letter describing the termination of the ReactorOversight Process for KPS and commencement of the Decommissioning PowerReactor Inspection Program (Reference 3). In that letter the NRC states that it willconduct the inspection for the Emergency Preparedness White finding using InspectionProcedure 92702, "Follow-Up on Corrective Actions for Violations and Deviations," toverify appropriate corrective actions are being implemented instead of using InspectionProcedure 95001.DEK has undertaken the steps necessary to assure that the cause evaluation andcorrective actions are of sufficient scope and breadth to address the identifiedperformance deficiencies.
