N490 Hwy 42, Kewaunee, WI 54216 4D minion Web Address: www.dom.com NOV 0 7 2013 ATTN: Document Control Desk Serial No.13-239 U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission LIC/RR/R0 Washington, DC 20555-0001 Docket No.: 50-305 License No.: DPR-43 DOMINION ENERGY KEWAUNEE, INC.

KEWAUNEE POWER STATION INSPECTION REPORT 0500030512013504 -RESPONSE TO NRC REQUEST On January 24, 2013, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued an inspection report for the Kewaunee Power Station (KPS) (Reference 1) indicating a preliminary significance determination for a White finding. On April 4, 2013, the NRC issued the final significance determination for a White finding and notice of violation (Reference 2).

The April 4, 2013 letter (Reference 2) also informed Dominion Energy Kewaunee, Inc.

(DEK) the NRC would be conducting a supplemental inspection using Inspection Procedure 95001, "Inspection for One or Two White Inputs in a Strategic Performance Area," when NRC has been notified by DEK of its readiness for the inspection.

On May 31, 2013, the NRC issued a letter describing the termination of the Reactor Oversight Process for KPS and commencement of the Decommissioning Power Reactor Inspection Program (Reference 3). In that letter the NRC states that it will conduct the inspection for the Emergency Preparedness White finding using Inspection Procedure 92702, "Follow-Up on Corrective Actions for Violations and Deviations," to verify appropriate corrective actions are being implemented instead of using Inspection Procedure 95001.

DEK has undertaken the steps necessary to assure that the cause evaluation and corrective actions are of sufficient scope and breadth to address the identified performance deficiencies. DEK requests the NRC perform the inspection identified in Reference 3 starting on or after November 12, 2013.

If you have questions or require additional information, please feel free to contact Mr.

Richard P. Repshas at 920-388-8217.

Very truly yours, Site Vi e resident, Kewaunee Power Station
