This letter is to acknowledge the receipt of EnergySolutions submittal (ES-2021-007) docketed on October 4, 2021 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System [ADAMS]
Accession Number ML21277A246), providing the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) the Kewaunee Solutions Decommissioning Quality Assurance Program for NRC approval prior to implementation. As part of the acceptance review of your submittal, the NRC will provide a preliminary review, hours and anticipate completion date based upon our current review schedules. Your request has been assigned Enterprise Project Identifier L-2021-DP3-0000.
Please reference this number in any future correspondence associated with this request.
The NRC staff will evaluate your submittal and determine if the EnergySolutions application contains sufficient information to allow the staff to complete the detailed review. If the application does not contain sufficient information for the staff, then a Request for Supplemental Information (RSI) will be issued, and the staff will provide Dominion with EnergySolutions an opportunity to discuss the RSI and to clarify a final resolution.
In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) 2.390 of the NRCs Agency Rules of Practice and Procedure, a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records component of NRCs ADAMS.
