15

NRC Assessment of Oyster Creek (Jan 1 - Dec 31,2006)

The plant operated safely.

Plant was in Regulatory Response Column of the Action Matrix (cornerstone objectives fully met).

The NRC conducted a supplemental inspection in May 2006 to address two White emergency preparedness inspection findings. The supplemental inspection was not able to close the August 2005 White finding.

In 2007, the NRC plans to perform a 95001 Supplemental Inspection in addition to baseline inspections.

Opened due to one White and three Green findings sharing this common theme.

Remains open because AmerGen has not demonstrated sufficient performance improvement in this area.

17
