-Know your legal standing Make decisions based on immediate and anticipated strategic requirements, not the need to do something. Sometimes its ok to do nothing.

- If youre not on the scene of the incident, slow down your decision making process. How will this affect those on the scene?.
- Remember-Emergency Operations Centers &
Joint Information Centers, are not in Command.
- They are an essential component in support of the Command.
