I As counsel for Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation we hereby transmit three (3) originals and twenty-five (25) copies of an amendment entitled, "Amendment No. 1 to Petition Requesting Amendment of License." Accompanying this petition are seventy (70) copies of a document entitled, "First Addendum to Technical Supplement to Petition to Xncrease Power Level."

This Amendment contains answers to the questions raised in your letter of August 27 except for the answer to Question No. 11. The answer to this Question No. 11 will be filed with the answers, presently in preparation, which were contained in your letter of September 25.
