In an email dated September 6, 2017 and a conference call on September 13, 2017, the NRC requested enhancement of the level of detail in the FLEX support guidelines (FSGs) that direct repowering of the Remote Monitoring Panel (RMP) following an extended loss of alternating current power and a loss of vital instrumentation. Therefore, Dominion Energy Virginia will revise O-FSG-5, "Initial Assessment and FLEX Equipment Staging," and 1/2-FSG-7, "Loss of Vital Instrumentation or Control Power," to clarify the amount of time available to repower the RMP and to add a note to ensure the portable generator cable/cable connections are not submerged.
