A I am Gonmn L. Reynolds and I live at Rt. #2, Box 69, Csenmnn, Ohio.

A I have been a journepmn millwright for six yer.rs.

3. Q What was yeaIr position at the Zi::mer Nuclear Power Station?

A I was millwright general foramn fras October,1978 te February,1979.

4. Q Describe what you and your crew did to the control rods.

A We were required to clean metal shavings fran the cuubel red blades.

We fdrst took old cloths wrapped with a heavy gray t'ne und beat the sides of the blades to renove these shavings. 5e thc2 ran a ungnet along then folltsed bv a wMne sbop vaaran cleaner and finally wiped then down with an acetone solution.

A In February, R.C.I. required my crew to do grinding an all the centrol rods (at the bottan of the blades) to re:rve an over--sized weld.

A Amil -atal frag:nents fran the grinding went into the control rod blades by way of snall boles uing the length of then.
