As ordered by the majority of the[ District of Columbia Court of

Appeals, 445 A.2d 615 (1982),

pursuant to Disciplinary Rule 9-102 of the District of Columbia Code of Professional Responsibility, this notification is to inform all of the parties to this proceeding that Jessica H.

Laverty became an associate with Conner & Wetterhahn, P.C.

on September 26, 1983 atter working as a member ot NRC Commissioner Robert's staff.

She will not participate in any manner in any matters leading to the issuance of the Zimmer operating license currently pending before the NRC, specifically including (a) the proposed reopening of the operating license proceeding record for eight new contentions proposed by MVPP on May 18, 1982 on quality assurance and management competence and integrity and (b) the Commission's immediately effective order or November 12, 1982 suspending safety-related construction and ordering completion of certain specified actions.

Procedures are in place to screen Mrs. Laverty from participation in any aspect of the matters described above.

As a routine matter, all incoming mail is screened and specific instructions are in place such that no incoming correspondence or pleadings related to these matters will be directed to Mrs. Laverty.

Additionally, all protessional and clerical employees are aware of the requirement that she be screened from narticipating in or discussing these matters.

Finally, Mrs. Laverty will not share in any fees for representation in these matters.
