Dear Mr. Mittness:

EXPENDITURES AND COMMITMENTS WISCONSIN UTILITIES /ROJECT .

HAV. NUCLEAR PLANT lpCKET 05-CE-3 We submit herewith the monthly report of information with respect to expenditures and commitments in connection with the Wisconsin Utilities' proposed Haven Nuclear Plant.

i As we have stated in our testimony in this Docket on August 27, 1979, Haven project activity has been reduced to a minimum level. The Stone & Webster project team has been disbanded and Westinghouse project work has been suspended. We estimated that monthly expenditures during the period of suspended activity would not exceed $30,000. Because of this law level of activity, we suggest that our periodic reports of expenditures and commitments be submitted on a quarterly, rather than a monthly, basis.

Accordingly, af ter our final 1979 monthly report is submitted in L January, 1980, we propose to begin submissions of a quarterly report. If this reporting pe.-iod is not acceptable, please notify us at your earliest convenience.

The information contained in this submittal is true to the best of my knowledge and belief.

Very truly yours, n _-
