DOCKET NO. STN 50-502 REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION HAVEN NUCLEAR PLANT We have received and reviewed your letter dated February 6, 1979, which forwarded to us 52 additional information requests regarding the Wisconsin Utilities Project Preliminary Safety Analysis Report (PSAR) and the Haven Nuclear Plant Site Addendum (SA) to the PSAR. Your letter requested that we provide our responses by April 2, 1979.

Our initial review of these requests indicates that we will be able to provide essentially all the information requested by April 2 in a letter response format. Because of the activity necessary to prepare the SA and Environmental Report amendments and Single Unit Supplements scheduled for March and April, we will not be able to provide this most recently requested information in PSAR and EA amendments by the specified date. We shall, of course, follo..

up any letter responses with document amendments as soon as possible.

During a telephone conversation with Mr. Robert Capra of your Staff on February 16, 1979, we identified five of the 52 requests for which complete responses may not be available by April 2. These are question numbers 110.19, 110.20, 110.21, 222.7, and 362.4. We also understand that you will be submitting several additional questions in the near future. We will review these additional information requests as they arrive and will make every effort to complete our responses by the requested April 2, 1979, response date.
