REPORT ON TRIP TO CATAWBA DATE OF VISIT: August 26-27, 2015 PURPOSE OF VISIT: Quarterly Site Visit per MC 0102 INSPECTOR OBSERVED: Andy Hutto, Jason Parent SENIOR LICENSEE PERSON CONTACTED: None.
OBSERVATIONS:
Both units were operating at 100% power. Unit 2 was preparing to shut down to 18% power to repair a steam leak in the vicinity of a 1/2 sample line isolation valve for the 2C steam generator.
