OUTAGE GREATER THAN TWO DAYS The unit was shutdown on September 13, 1985, and a cooldown was commenced in order to repair the Group 7 (Rod 2) control rod drive (CRD) stator. At approximately 2300 hours0.0266 days <br />0.639 hours <br />0.0038 weeks <br />8.7515e-4 months <br /> on September 17, 1985, a rod was dropped causing a plant run back to approximately 38% power. Power was further reduced to less than 15% to lower the quadrant power tilt value. Attempts were made to pick up the dropped rod, but the attempts were unsuccessful. Cooldown was then comenced to repair the CRD stator. The outage is estimated to be for 5 days.
