The revised CAL contains two commitments in the Engineering Design Control Area of Regulatory Concern. These two commitments had been proposed by NMC via Reference (3).

In Reference (1) NRC requested that NMC notify the NRC, pursuant to Section 182 of the Atomic Energy Act, 42 USC 2332, if NMC cannot complete the actions within the specified schedule in the March 31 , 2005, and February 10,2006, letters, and advise the NRC of the modified schedule in advance of the change.

In Reference (2) NMC submitted an update on CAL commitments and performance measures. The enclosure of Reference (2) provided a revised completion schedule for the milestones associated with the safety-related calculation project described by Action Plan OP-14-005.
