By letter dated August 31, 2015 (ML# 15246A045), Southern Nuclear Operating Company (SNC) requested license amendments for approval of a fleet standard emergency plan. SNC requested a coordinated effort with the NRC to schedule implementation of the associated changes upon approval. The purpose of this letter is to provide notification that SNC intends to implement the Standard Emergency Plan prior to January 31, 2018.

This letter contains no NRC commitments. If you have any questions, please contact Ken McElroy at 205.992.7369.
