Already struck once by an earthquake that exceeded its design specs, what will happen if another such earthquake strikes? There have been over 70 earthquakes in the area since the 2011 earthquake that was centered only 11 miles from the plants. What happens if another, bigger earthquake strikes the area? What unseen damage occurred to the structure of the plants, to its buried electrical cables, its cement, etc.?

Why hasn't Dominion been forced by NRC to implement the safety improvements required because of Fukushima? Why isn't NRC requiring that a new Environmental Impact Statement be developed? How can you in good conscience rely on the one created over 40 years ago? Why is Dominion being allowed to request a license renewal 18 years before the current one expires? What is the plan for permanently storing the toxic, radioactive waste that is there and will be generated in the future? Why is NRC allowing safety inspections and training to stop, just because of the coronavirus? Why haven't evacuation plans been updated to accommodate the increased local population? Has the dam been inspected to ensure that it won't fail?

You need to do your job and make sure that US citizens are protected.
