INVES11GAlIVE REPORT RE: HARASS!'.ENT AfiD INTIMIDATION In (trly 1984, Region IV rectived an investigative report from l'ansas Gas &
Electric Co. (KG&E) documenting an investigation they had conducted concerning a
<ait rede by a construction forenian to construction personnel that they could cc:
r.ot discuss or report issues with the NRC unless they first "went through" their supcrvisor.
Upon the review of the investigative rcport in question that you Fod 1 (cnducted, a number of questions still remain unanswcred.
These questions ure idcntified to KG&E pcrsonnel with a request that they be eddressed.
On.'c.utry 15, 1985, you and I reviewed KG&E investigative report KQ'r.'LKM-84-015, dett d April 9,1984.
The additional investigative effort conibined with the t u e.ir.c. tion of the foreman in question, and along with the corrective action of ic-i ddrr ssing the unrestricted access to the NRC by all personnel, have ad.,yetely addressed the questionable issues within the KG&E initial report.
