NRR TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE - INTERPRETATION OF TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS APPLICABLE TO VITAL BUSES POWERED FRCM N0h-CLASS 1E P06lERfSOURCE (DAVIS-BESSE) i Your February 21, 1964 memorandum requested the NRR position relating to the operability of an AC vital bus (Class 1E) when power is supplied from a non Class IE power source. The enclosed memorandum fror L. S. Rubenstein to G.
C. Lainas briefly identifies the NRR activities with respect to this issue.
We conclude that Actied Statement 3.8.2.1 of the Davis Besse Technical Specifications is not ; invoked when the AC Vital Buses are powered f rom non Class IE power sources.
This completes our activities with spect to TIA 64-15.
