Enclosed for your infonnation are two recent memoranda on the Appendix J i

requirements.

Reference 1 points out that some licens es have not been t

adding the "as folind" minus the "as left" leakage measured in Type B and Type C local leak tests to the integrated results of the Type A test.

It asks NRR for clarification.

Reference 2 was written in response to this request and points out that the results of the local leak tests are to be added the integrated Type A re'ults.

s We plan to incorporate this clarification in module #61719 of the Inspection and Enforcement Manual.
