Byron Nuclear Power Stations Unito 1 ansLR Byron Station Security Plan NRC Docket Nos. 50-454 & 50-455 TAC Nos. 65282/65283 Enclosed is the original and three (3) copies of Revision Number 51 (Appendix F) of the Byron Nuclear Power Station Security Plan.
This submittal contains the following changes:
Exhibit Figure 6-1 of the gatehouse is temporarily being changed to reflect an additional ingress screening area and temporary protected area boundary. This configuration as shown in Temporary Figure F-1 (gatehouse) will be in effect from October 1,1997 to completion of B1R08 outage. Upon completion of the steam generator outage, the tempormy figure and temporary secthn (Appendix F) will become void. The gatehouse configuration will return as shown in Figure 61 (Rev. 46 February 1996).
Pursuant to 10CFR 50.54(p), the signed original and three copies of the Security Plan revisions are being provided to your office. A copy of this letter and two copies of the Security Plan revisions are being sent to Region Ill.
We have concluded that these changes do not decrease the safeguards effectiveness of the plan. These enclosures contain Safeguards information which must be protected from public disclosure pursuant to 10CFR 73.21.
